All my dogs have loved these since they were puppies way into adulthood. They do smell like bacon to me so they probably taste really good to them. They are made of a hard but bendable plastic but if you have strong chewers be very aware that they WILL get chunks off of these. I am always vigilant of any pieces that they might get off. I don’t know if it’s okay for them to ingest big chunks of these but I worry sometimes about choking or something.
Overall thought love these and my dogs always have. I do very much recommend them. It keeps them entertained for a while and they just love them!

I have a 4 month old puppy and I purchased this to help with hear teething. She chewed through one of the keys the first day. Chewed it right off the ring. It does keep her busy, but it’s not lasting that long. I give it 3 stars because she is chewing right through it.

These keys are a favorite of all of our dogs, I imagine because they are bacon flavored and who doesn’t love bacon?!? We discovered the keys when we adopted a dog who brought not one, but three sets of keys with her. Every night when she would be ready to go to bed she would walk up to us with a set of keys in her mouth and let us know she was ready to go to sleep. Our new puppy loves them and has, over time, annihilated the pair we had so we ordered another set. He is a small dog but a heavy chewer and these last and last. Buy a set or three. You won’t regret it. And if you do send them to us.

We have a 5 year old pug who was diagnosed with mast cell tumors in his mouth about 8 months ago. This has made it difficult for him to chew his normal favorite bones, but we just weren’t sure what to do.
I remembered him having a set of these as a baby so I figured we’d give them another try in a bit larger size. Best thing I could have done!
The size is perfect for him.
The material is soft, but very durable.
He is able to chew away at them for hours at a time without causing himself any pain or destroying them.
These have held up incredibly well. With about 3 months of constant gnawing I finally replaced them. I actually purchased the 3 pack this time (instead of the single) for this reason. We shouldn’t need to repurchase for at least another 6+ months.

My dog’s favorite puppy toy was the extra small size of these keys. When she had chewed all the keys off that ring, I had a hard time finding something she liked until I learned that these came in larger sizes. Sure enough, she still loves them at 9 years of age. It’s the only toy she chews on more than a little bit. I do have to watch as after awhile she can get chunks of plastic but by awhile I mean months of use, so at that point I get a new one for her.

A chew toy lasting over 6 mo. is generally very good, for this breed & this brand! I kept it in her cage at night, so she wouldn’t get board & start chewing on her paws. BC I felt it was a safe toy to use in this manner. “It was safe for my teething Bulldog.” “Much, much better than other chew toys from this brand!” Others such as the Orange Pretzel they absolutely love! However, they have always splintered into very sharp edges of plastic, which cause the dogs mouth’s to bleed (pokes their gums) & then NEED THROWN AWAY! This Key Chain Chew Toy was “really good” compared to other Nylabone brand chew toys, I have purchased! My girls mouth did not bleed from chewing on it:) “So, I am very pleased with this teething ring!” & would buy it again! Notice how the plastic splinters on the ends? Once the toy gets to his point I feel it is definitely time to be replaced! I would recommend this chew toy for a teething med. sized dog! The one I purchased was fairly large. & stayed together safely:) This is the only Nylabone Chew Toy I would ever, leave in a crate at night, thus far! Good Job Nylabone!
