My sweet precious dog is 13 years old and although he can still jump on furniture it gets harder and harder and I wanted to buy something that would allow him to access the couch without jumping. I like these stairs, they were super easy to set up after we let them sit for 48 hours so they could expand enough. Currently, our dog doesn’t love them as they are a little soft and he sinks when he jumps on them but I hope that the longer he uses them, the more used to them he will get. They are the perfect height and I really hope with training he will use them more often. They are light, easy to move and we can carry them wherever he wants to go, so I anticipate we will grow to love them.

We use this step for our Chihuahua so she can access our couch without having to do a lot of jumping. We try to avoid her jumping if at all possible. She is only 3 years old now and we hope it gives her a longer more comfortable life doing so. The steps are simple and easy to setup and soft enough yet sturdy enough to be safe and usable.

These stairs are OK. There is no way to secure them to each other, so they get askew after a while and need to be straightened.

This item includes two soft cushions which have a seam that allows each to be folded over to make a single step. The idea is that you fold one up and place it on top of the other cushion laying flat. They have no support, so unless your dog is less than 5 pounds, it will sink right into the step as it walks up. OR, if the try to climb the step quickly, the cushions will separate and your dog will have a 50/50 chance of falling. I will NOT use it as a step…too dangerous. Instead, I laid them both flat and cover them with a blanket to be used as a sleeping cushion.

These steps work very well. They are the perfect height for our couch. The steps height is just right for our dog that has developed a spine problem. They are firm, but not so soft that he can not use them. Storing them is easy, too. Play them flat and tuck them away.
The long and short of this is, if you have an older dog/cat or any other pet that might not jump on furniture, these are the steps you need to help your loved pet.

The stairs are nice for smaller dogs and smaller surfaces. They are nice and sturdy. The have a good wide build but the design is a bit awkward. They work well for our ottoman or sofa but no so much for a bed as our beds are far too high for these. They are a bit bulky as far as the real estate they take up. No assembly required other than just stacking them together. Not sure I’d go with these again considering other options out there.
