Image quality is ok, not great, but I suppose that is to be expected. Also, images come out dark especially when facing an entrance such as a doorway.

They work great, had to buy new radio chip, make sure you purchase 2gig XCVR2 900MHz Transceiver for TS1 (White) …if you don’t have it in your system. It will not work without it. Also had to upgrade software to required version. Once that was done they worked.

Works as advertised but quality of picture needs improvement. I bought 3, picture is the same on all 3. Nice feature when it detects movement, it takes overall picture and a closeup. Easy to setup although I needed alarm company to update operating system so it would recognize image sensor. Range is decent too.

Great concept, horrible implementation.
First problem at initial setup poor image quality.
After 2 weeks of use, i finaly had the motion detector trigger an image capture when someone walked up to the door. By the time the motion was triggered and the image captured the person was out of the scene. So at that point it was worthless, and decided to keep it just so i can peek in when ever i wanted since the motion text message is BS.
Final straw that broke the camels back was after 2-3 weeks the image got so bad it was useless even with my peek ins. During daytime the image was so dark i couldn’t see anything. At this point i decided to return it for a refund.
I advise to go with other avenues such as zmodo standalone POE cameras and dvr. Besides a novelty this would be useless if you really needed to see something useful like a thief’s face.
i attached two images to illustrate quality. One was over exposed then i repositioned the camera after week the other image underexposed. Both taken during the day. The sensor was mounted at front entrance with patio covering so the sensor was not in direct sunlight.

These cameras have a 8-12 month battery life and start having low battery issues after about 8 years and are no longer sold by their original security system companies.

If you have an existing 2Gig panel and the installer’s code (which in my case was left on default settings) you can read the instructions available in the Internet and add it to your setup. My guest room was left out of the security perimeter due to its location but now it is covered. Great value compared to what any distributor would (want to) charge you.
